Common environmental functions include temperature resistance, humidity resistance, salt spray resistance, vibration and impact, etc.
③When the salt spray resistant connector is operated in an environment containing moisture and salt, the metal structure and the surface treatment layer of the touch part may undergo galvanic corrosion, which affects the physical and electrical functions of the connector.
In order to test the ability of the electrical connector to withstand this environment, a salt spray test was established. It hangs the connector in a temperature-controlled experiment box, and sprays a regular concentration of sodium chloride solution from compressed air to form a salt fog atmosphere. The exposure time is regulated by the product standard for at least 48 hours.
