1. Under the condition of continuous high temperature.

Generally speaking, in special cases, the normal working temperature is -40~80℃.
2. Wet environment.
Air humidity over 80% is the main cause of electrical breakdown. Water vapour from wet environments digests, absorbs, and diffuses across insulating surfaces, thereby reducing ground resistance. If it is often in a relatively high humidity environment, it will continue to cause physical deformation, dissolution, escape of reactants, breathing effect and electrolysis, corrosion and cracking. In particular, USB connectors outside of mechanical equipment should be sealed in wet environments.
3. The situation where the ambient temperature changes rapidly.
Rapid changes in the ambient temperature of the USB connector may cause cracks or delamination of the insulating material.
4. The natural environment of the gas is relatively rare.
Under the plateau climate conditions, the contact of plastics with the steam of environmental pollution will lead to corona discharge, reduce the compression performance, lead to short-circuit failure of the power circuit, and reduce the characteristics of the plastics. Therefore, in this case, derating must be used when applying unsealed connectors.
5. Under corrosive conditions.
Under corrosive conditions, USB connectors should be constructed of corresponding metal materials, plastics and coatings. Without a corrosion-resistant metal surface, functionality continues to decline rapidly.
