RJ is the definition of the interface type and does not include the performance parameters of the interface. There are many parameters that determine the transmission rate, such as: the throughput of the network port chip; the type and quality of the network cable (is it Category 5; Category 5; or Category 6; Category 6).
The network port we generally use now is the RJ network interface, also known as 8P8C, that is, 8 grooves and 8 metal contacts. Each contact has a different function. In a 100M network, four contacts of 1, 2, 3, 6 are used. In a 1000M network, 1, 2, 3, 6, 4, 5, 7 are used at the same time. 8. Eight contacts.
